My name is Mark.

I’ve been immersed in the web development industry since 2000, gaining a broad and deep skill set across a wide range of disciplines, company structures, and project methodologies. My career has spanned everything from agency work with small businesses and multinational corporations to freelance contracting for both private and government institutions. Most recently, I co-founded TripHeroics / CyclingHero, an innovative platform that helps cycling and adventure sport tour operators manage self-guided trips.

In many ways, my journey has mirrored the evolution of the web itself. I started during the dot-com boom, adapted through the rise of mobile-first design in the 2010s, embraced cloud-based architecture and the push for decentralized services, and now navigate the rapidly expanding world of AI and machine learning.

Through all this change, one thing has remained constant: my passion for building meaningful and impactful digital experiences. Whether it’s improving lives on a small scale or communicating to a global audience, I believe in the power of the web to create something truly special.
